Baby Parker was born on March 10, nothing shy of a miracle. At 4 weeks early, he had pneumonia and infections due to his premature birth and stayed in the NICU for 3 weeks, improving everyday. The biggest miracle of this story is that his birth mom found Meka and Duane who had just started the adoption process in hope to find their second child. I know it was very scary for them to take in another child, when their daughter had just barely turned 1. But they were more than grateful that they would be blessed with another child. They are home now, and I'm sure life is still tough, caring for a newborn all day and night, and taking care of a one-year-old! But if you ask Meka, she'd say life is wonderful with her two children. She is an amazing person, and a great mom. I'm so excited to be able to do something for this family, who is an inspiration to me, and many others.Please participate in our Onesie Drive for Parker!
